(NYSE: CSC) CEO Mike Lawrie will step down as CSRA‘s (NYSE: CSRA) chairman of the board on Aug. 9 ahead of that spinoff company’s planned merger with Hewlett Packard Enterprise‘s (NYSE: HPE) enterprise services unit, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
CSC and HPE have agreed on the merger in May and aim to create a company with projected annual sales of $26 billion, including $2.86 billion from the public sector.
Nancy Killefer, lead independent director at CSRA, has been elected by the company’s board as the next chairman, pending her re-election.
