trident-ii-d5-missileTYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 5, 2016 — BAE Systems and Boeing (NYSE: BA) have received contracts from the U.S. Navy to provide support for the Trident II D5 fleet ballistic missile system, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
The Defense Department said Monday the potential $368.7 million contract awarded to BAE is for systems engineering and integration services and nuclear weapon surety support, while the potential $88.9 million deal awarded to Boeing is for materials, labor and other services for Trident inertial navigation equipment.
