There was a major announcement this week as Boeing detailed a number of executive moves set to take both immediately and in the coming year.
The first move is Tony Parasida, current president of Boeing defense, space & security’s global services & support business unit taking over as senior vice president for human resources and administration, effective April 1, 2013.
This move comes on the heels of Rick Stephens, current SVP for HR and administration announcing his retirement, effective March 31, 2013.
The last move is Jim O’Neill, VP and general manager of the integrated logistics business within GS&S immediately replacing Parasida as president of GS&S.
“Tony is a successful and strong business leader who understands the vital role employees play in growing our businesses in competitive global markets and keeping our promises to customers,” said Jim McNerney, Boeing chairman, president and chief executive officer, of Parasida.
According to a Boeing statement, Parasida will begin working with Stephens immediately to ensure a smooth transition.
