On January 27, 2014, Executive Mosaic officially officially elected SAIC CEO Tony Moraco to join the ranks of the Wash100 as part of the latest group of inductees into the premier group of leaders on both sides of the intersection of the private and public sectors.
Executive Mosaic singled out Moraco’s leadership in the lead up, execution and time after SAIC’s split into Leidos and the “New’ SAIC as the company looks to bring scale and competitive price to the enterprise IT and technical services space.
The announcement noted that the Moraco noted that the historically turbulent market left some questioning whether it was the right to for the spin-off, but it was just that that ability to retool and remake SAIC without many of its earlier organizational conflicts of interests amid that uncertainty that made the move the right time and “a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity”
“With all that in place now, I’m most eager for SAIC to begin to tap our full potential,” Moraco said.
The Wash100 is a group of private and public sectors officially elected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership for demonstrating a consistent commitment to organizational excellence, and driving above-average value to the American public through strategic vision, innovation and achievement.
