She is the recipient of the 2005 Meritorious Executive Presidential Rank Award and the 2010 Distinguished Executive Presidential Rank Award.

Dan Tangherlini has been quick to rise in the government since he started his career in 1992.
He served as Washington, DC’s City Administrator and Deputy Mayor from 2006 to 2009.
