TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 29, 2018 — A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) joint venture will provide the U.S. Army technical support in the integration and synchronization of geospatial data standards and requirements as part of a previously awarded contract potentially worth $200 million, GovCon Wire reported Monday.
The company said Friday General Dynamics One Source, a JV of General Dynamics’ information technology and mission systems businesses, will build geospatial enterprise-enabled warfighter support systems under the multi-award Geospatial Research, Integration, Development and Support II contract.
Adam Rudo, acting vice president and general manager of GDIT’s intelligence solutions division, noted that the team will work to enhance geospatial research and development in support of the intelligence community and Defense Department.
