Ed Casey, acting chief executive of Serco Group, has been named to the exclusive group of executives who drive innovation and growth at the intersection of the public and private sectors.
Casey brings executive experience in finance, entrepreneurship, the energy sector, and much more to the international company, who’s U.S. operations he previously led through great expansion as chief executive.
“[Since 2006] we have expanded our presence to now provide services to every branch of the U.S. military, numerous federal civilian agencies, the intelligence community, the Government of Canada and state and local governments across North America,” he told GovCon Exec.
“Our workforce has grown to surpass 9,000 people and our revenues have grown 122% to $1.2B,” he added.
Prior to joining Serco, Casey served as president of Lowell Partners LLC, a firm that invests in early-stage companies specializing in emerging technologies, among others.
He had previously helped lead Fremont Group as a managing partner, where he focused on private equity investments in areas including energy and infrastructure, and founded electricity marketer NP Energy, which quickly grew to be one of the largest in the U.S.
Serco Group’s operations currently span 35 countries and employ around 120,000 people.
