TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 26, 2017 — A joint venture of Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC), Stoller Newport News Nuclear and Honeywell (NYSE: HON) will proceed with operations and management work at the Energy Department‘s Nevada National Security Site following clearance from the National Nuclear Security Administration, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
The Mission Support and Test Services JV received a potential 10-year, $5 billion contract from NNSA in June to manage and operate the Nevada nuclear facility and will begin transition activities on Aug. 1, Stoller parent company Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) said Monday.
