Jeremy Wensinger Named USIS Global Security, Solutions President

Jeremy Wensinger has been appointed president of global security and solutions at USIS, where he will lead a team 3,000 workers supporting national security missions.

The former GTSI COO joins USIS almost four months after Sterling Phillips, GTSI’s chief executive from 2010 until last year, joined USIS as CEO.
Before joining GTSI, Weinsinger was chairman and president of Cobham Defense Systems where he led a number of businesses focusing on electronic systems and professional services.
He also held a 20-year career at Harris Corp. and has served as group president of the government communications systems business, among other leadership positions.
JD Crouch on the Promotion of Mark Hewitt to QinetiQ NA EVP, Chief Strategy Officer

Mark Hewitt has elevated to EVP and chief strategy officer at QinetiQ NA, where he will develop strategies and oversee defense and commercial innovation programs.

Hewitt joined the company in 2010 and served as SVP for technology solutions strategy prior to his promotion.

Prior to QNA, Hewitt served as the defense and intelligence program leader for the Energy Dept.’s Pacific Northwest Laboratory and has also led the FBI’s interagency cyber intell unit.

Sujey Edward and Sheri Neely have joined Fairfax, Va.-based Salient Federal Solutions to serve as VPs of the company’s agile center of excellence and mission critical software development unit, respectively.

Edward served as an agile coach for organizations such as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Transportation Security Administration before this appointment.

Bill Parker, Salient COO, said the additions of the two executives are aimed at boosting the team’s focus on the integration of technology.

Neely was VP of operations at LIST Innovative Solutions and VP and deputy business unit director at SRA earlier in her career.

Cliff Greenblatt Elevates to TASC VP, General Counsel

Cliff Greenblatt

Cliff Greenblatt has been named VP and general counsel at TASC, where he will lead the company’s ethics and compliance activities.

He joined the Chantilly, Va.-based firm in 2010 as deputy general counsel and will continue to provide legal support to the company’s business operations in his new role.

The GovCon vet served as assistant general counsel at General Dynamics for five years prior to TASC and also served as an in-house counsel at Accenture earlier in his career.
