TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 26, 2016 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) will maintain and operate the X-ray and imaging systems of the Customs and Border Protection agency under a potential $155 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The company said Thursday the contract from the Department of Homeland Security includes maintenance of the VACIS inspection platforms, radiation portal monitors, radiation isotope identification device and other non-intrusive inspection equipment.
Tim Reardon, president of Leidos’ intelligence and homeland security business, said the company will work to help CBP secure areas such as land border and rail crossings, airports and seaports.
