lockheed-martinThe U.S. Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a $176.1 million contract to provide new Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod-Sensor Enhancement (ATP-SE) and upgrade kits to covert Sniper (ATP) to Sniper (ATP-SE) grade.
Paul Lemmo, vice president of Fire Control/SOF CLSS at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control commented that “with the purchase of new Sniper ATP-SEs and the continued conversion of Sniper ATPs to ATP-SEs, the U.S. Air Force will gain greater targeting capability and performance across its multi-platform fleet.”
Lockheed is scheduled to start deliveries of new targeting pods and upgrade kits in the fourth quarter of 2016.
