TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 20, 2017 — A Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) business unit has secured a potential $135.5 million contract to supply Integrated Undersea Surveillance System hardware and software platforms to help U.S. Navy ships identify adversarial submarines, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
The Defense Department said Monday Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems will provide the signal processing and display system technology for ships with the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System and for shore sites of the IUSS program.
