TYSONS CORNER, VA August 14, 2015 — The U.S. Army has selected Vencore to collect logistics data and maintenance information under a program designed to maintain the military service’s fleet of heavy equipment, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The three-year, $86 million contract will encompass the Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity’s inventory of aviation and ground combat systems, ground support equipment and tactical wheeled vehicles, Vencore said Wednesday.
“I appreciate the renewal of confidence that the U.S. Army has placed in Vencore by awarding us this follow-on [sample] data collection program,” said Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Vencore and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2015.
“I know that we will continue to provide valuable information that can assist the Army in maximizing the lifecycle of its heavy equipment assets.”
