Mike Bowers Named President of Xerox Federal Solutions

Mike Bowers, a 27-year GovCon industry veteran, has been appointed president at Xerox Federal Solutions.

He most recently served as COO at Indus Corp. for five years and is also a 15-year veteran of SAIC.

David Amoriell, VP and COO of Xerox’s government and transportation sector, said Bowers has worked with government clients on business development processes and understands the contracting sector’s nuances.

Bowers started his career at Advanced Technology and has also served as civilian sector president at Agilex Technologies, as well as SVP and GM of Vangent’s health solutions business.

Dale Luddeke is STG’s New SVP for Strategy and Business Growth

Dale Luddeke has been named senior vice president of strategy and business growth at STG, where he will lead the company’s pursuit of IDIQ vehicles, capture and proposal work and business intelligence functions.

He served as SVP and chief growth officer at TASC before joining Reston, Va.-based STG.

Paul Fernandes, STG president, said Luddeke is a 20-year industry BD veteran and will play a key role in the company’s next stage of corporate evolution.

Prior to TASC, Luddeke served as EVP of business development at CACI and held a number of BD and operations leadership roles at CSC.

 

Chris Goodrich Elevates to Cyber Group EVP and COO at ManTech

Chris Goodrich has been promoted to EVP and COO for ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group and will be responsible for the organization’s operations.

The 26-year industry veteran most recently led the signals intelligence solutions and cyber operations business unit within that same group.

Bill Varner, group president, said Goodrich worked to expand the company’s Hanover, Md.-based cyber integration center during the past three years.

Goodrich spent eight years at TASC prior to ManTech and also worked at NSA for 18 years, where he focused on technical support and program management.

 

Mark Gerencser Appointed to Sotera Defense Solutions’ Board

Mark Gerencser, chairman of the board of directors at PC services firm Cyberspa, has joined the board of directors at Sotera Defense Solutions.

Gerencser previously spent 30 years at Booz Allen Hamilton where he most recently served as head of the consulting practice in the financial, health and energy industries.

Matt Cwiertnia, Sotera board chairman, said Gerencser brings experience in running national security and cyberspace programs for the growing company.

Gerencser served on Booz Allen’s board for six terms and helped to stand up the McLean, Va.-based company’s homeland security practice.

 

John Hillen to Serve as Professor and Executive in Residence at George Mason University

John Hillen will serve as executive in residence and professor of practice at George Mason University’s School of Management.

“The School of Management and George Mason are uniquely connected in myriad ways to the innovation engines of the economy in the Washington, D.C. area,” said Hillen.

The former president and CEO of Sotera Defense Solutions still serves on that company’s board of advisers as vice chairman, chairs the board of directors at SOS International and is also on the board at Software AG Government Solutions.

Hillen previously served as assistant secretary of state for political-military affairs and is a former president of CGI Federal.
