Hello, Guest!

EMGovCon Wire published a story this week about Raytheon’s promotion of Dr. Thomas Kennedy to executive vice president and chief operating officer.

He previously served as company vice president and president of the integrated defense systems business and will step into his new role April 1.
“As we continue to operate in an increasingly competitive budget environment, our ability to enhance our operations, expand our global reach, and coordinate our development opportunities is critical to our success,” said William Swanson, company chairman and CEO.
Raytheon also said it is realigning its business structure, expanding three business segments out of its former network centric systems business.
As part of the reorganization, Raytheon is combining its intelligence and information systems and technical services businesses to form one business group.
In a flurry of executives moves announced as part of the realignment, Daniel Crowley will succeed Kennedy as president of the integrated defense systems business and Lynn Dugle will serve as president of the IIS business.
John Harris II, former president of technical services, will report to Dugle as vice president and general manager.
