Mac Curtis to Succeed Bill Graham as The SI Org CEO; Ramzi Musallam Comments

Mac Curtis will succeed the retiring Bill Graham as president and CEO of Chantilly, Va.-based The SI Organization, effective July 1.

The 25-year federal market veteran led Vangent for 11 years and through two sales, first in 2007 to Veritas Capital for $600 million and again in 2011 to General Dynamics for $960 million.

Ramzi Musallam, the SI board chairman, said Curtis has been a strategic member of the SI team for the past year as an operating executive at Veritas Capital and an SI board member.

Graham led the SI for nine years and will now serve as vice chairman of the board.

Larry Prior Appointed CSC Defense, Intell Group VP and GM

Larry Prior

Larry Prior has been named VP and GM of the defense and intelligence group at Falls Church, Va.-based CSC.

The former Marine Corps intelligence officer transitions from BAE Systems where he started as EVP of the services sector in July 2010, elevating to COO in June 2012.

Prior also served as president and COO at ManTech and held the same roles at SAIC before that.

His government experience includes service as a professional staff member for the House Intelligence Committee.

Michael Santelli Adds President to Current COO Role at OMNIPLEX; Philip Sweeney Named Exec Chairman

Michael Santelli will add the title of president to his current role of COO at OMNIPLEX World Services and Philip Sweeney has been appointed executive chairman of the board.

Santelli was named COO in December of 2012 after serving for 12 years at investigation services competitor USIS.

Santelli and Sweeney succeed for President and CEO Teri Wesselman and Founder and Chairman Julie Patterson, respectively, who will both remain on the board of directors.

Sweeney co-founded USIS in 1996 where he later served as SVP and CFO.

 
Paul Cofoni Named Executive Chairman at PAE

Paul Cofoni

Paul Cofoni, former CACI president and CEO, has been named executive chairman of the board of directors at PAE.

The 30-year government services vet said PAE’s work is important to him because it supports the nation’s security and helps enable U.S. foreign policy objectives.

He retired in December 2012 after seven years at the company, having led the Arlington, Va.-based firm for five of those years.
