Raytheon-logo_EbizTYSONS CORNER, VA September 17, 2015 — The Missile Defense Agency has awarded $87 million to Raytheon for the purchase of components for the Standard Missile-3 Block IIA interceptor, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
Raytheon said the long-lead materials will be for 17 missiles slated for weapons testing exercises with Japan and deployment to NATO allies in two years.
