TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 19, 2016 — The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) a $459 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to manufacture cryptographic devices that will work to secure the voice and data communications of the military service, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
Raytheon will conduct services at Fort Wayne in Indiana and Largo, Florida, through Dec. 15, 2021, as part of the VINSON/Advanced Narrowband Digital Voice Terminal Cryptographic Modernization project, the Defense Department said Thursday.
