TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 2, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has been named prime contractor on a proposed $1.5 billion foreign military sale of four P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft and associated services to New Zealand, GovCon Wire reported Monday.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Friday the State Department has moved to approve the potential sale that also includes commercial engines, radars, mission software, acoustic systems and electronic support systems.
DSCA also indicated several additional contractors on the program such as BAE Systems, Harris (NYSE: HRS), L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL), Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and Raytheon (NYSE: RTN).
