John Pranzatelli Moves Up to President at MBDA Inc.
JohnPranzatelliJohn Pranzatelli has elevated to president at missile systems contractorMBDA Inc., the U.S. arm of global missile conglomerate MBDA Group.

The three-decade industry veteran will lead efforts to grow MBDA Group‘s U.S. presence in the U.S. market and propose technology to customers.
He joined the company in June 2009 as VP of strategy and business operations after a 27-year career at Northrop Grumman and TRW.
At Northrop, Pranzatelli most recently served as VP of business and finance management.

Kelly Ortberg will succeed the retiring Clay Jones as CEO of Rockwell Collins, effective July 31.
Ortberg is a 26-year company veteran and assumed his current role of president in July of last year after serving as COO and EVP of the government services business. 

“This decision was made as part of a carefully orchestrated succession planning process that has been implemented over the past several years,” Jones said.
Jones has led the company as chief executive since 2001, a period which saw Rockwell Collins’ revenue jump from $2.5 billion to nearly $5 billion.
Diana Gowen on CenturyLink’s Potential $750M DISA Supercomputer Network IDIQDiana GowenCenturyLink has won a potential $750 million Defense Information Systems Agency contract to install a fiber-optic network to connect DoD supercomputers and researchers.  The Defense Research and Engineering Network is intended to have connection speeds of between 50 megabits and 100 gigabits per second.
Diana Gowen, a CenturyLink senior vice president and general manager, said scientists and engineers will use the network to collaborate and develop new technologies.
Research institutions, laboratories and test facilities at more than 150 DoD locations nationwide will connect to the network.
Daniel Keefe on ManTech’s Potential $96M Contract to Train CBP Officers in IT
Daniel KeefeManTech International has been awarded a potential $96 million contract to help Customs and Border Protection train law enforcement officers how to use IT, wireless communications and enforcement technology.

“The CBP is the largest law enforcement organization in the nation; entrusted with the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and security of our borders,” said Daniel Keefe, president and COO of ManTech‘s Technical Services Group.
ManTech will also help train other federal, state and local enforcement agencies and advise on the operation of large and small scale products and radiation equipment as part of the contract.
