Al Pisani on TASC’s Appointment of Joseph Pacileo as VP of Mission Solutions

Joseph Pacileo

Joseph Pacileo has been named vice president of mission solutions at TASC and will lead the company’s Fort Meade, Md. intelligence and cyber business.

The retired U.S. Army colonel most recently served as VP of cyber operations at ManTech and was previously a director at Northrop Grumman, focusing on engineering and managed systems.

Al Pisani, SVP of TASC’s intelligence group, said Pacileo has hands-on experience with the clients in his new role and the company aims to expand its Fort Meade footprint.

Pacileo worked at the National Security Agency for 15 years and most recently served as the chief of the agency’s remote operations center.

Paul Dillahay on Ron Mason, ASRC Federal’s New C4ISR SVP

Ron Mason has been appointed SVP for ASRC Federal’s C4ISR solutions group, where he will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and developing business strategies.

Ron Mason had a distinguished government civil service career that spanned more than three decades in a variety of positions delivering C4ISR systems to Air Force and joint customers,” said Paul Dillahay, ASRC president and CEO.

Mason is a former program executive officer at the Air Force, where he led cyber and network-centric programs.

Wayne Lucernoni on a Harris Contract to Support DHS First Responder Networks

Harris Corp. will support the Department of Homeland Security’s tactical communications networks for 15,000 first responders under a $45 million contract.

Wayne Lucernoni, Harris IT Services president, said the contract covers legacy systems and the company will provide DHS offerings that aim to integrate operations.

The company will provide the agency round-the-clock technical support with CSC under the contract, awarded through DHS’ five-year $3 billion TacCom IDIQ.

Bill Graham on the SI Organization’s Acquisition of Applied Communication Sciences

The SI Organization has acquired technology services provider Applied Communication Services, which develops products for defense and intelligence agencies, power utilities and telecom providers.

“With ACS, we are acquiring a technology company with a focus on cyber security, network communications and other leading-edge technologies,” said Bill Graham, SI president and CEO.

ACS was formerly Telcordia Technologies’ research and engineering business and became a Telcordia subsidiary after Ericsson bought the company in 2012.
