Mike Brown serves as vice president and general manager of the global public sector at RSA and spoke to ExecutiveBiz about a range of issues including information sharing.
“Both the private sector and the government really need to be working together in a real operational information sharing partnership to be able to be successful against those adversaries. That includes inside the government, the services, and in my particular case, the Navy,” he told ExecutiveBiz.
He also gave his take on what government and private industry needs to do to protect against cyber attacks.
“Cybersecurity professionals and the business community at large need to identify the high priorities and specific risks that are associated with your particular business and focus the cybersecurity efforts and analysis to ensure that adversaries are not capable of affecting your business operations,”
Candice Mendenhall serves as senior vice president of human resources for ICF International.
“People are people. They’re motivated by the same things. They might be motivated differently by the same things, but nevertheless, they’re basically the same,” she said.
She also spoke about the difference between Government contracting and other industries.
“Federal contracting, in general, is just far more complex than any kind of commercial or private sector business. In the commercial space, there is no such thing as a fringe rate. It’s not even a terminology that’s used,” she added.
