TYSONS CORNER, VA June 24, 2015 — Rick Ambrose, executive vice president for Lockheed Martin Space Systems and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2015, has announced Jill Hruby as the new president and director of the federally funded Sandia National Laboratories, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
Hruby has been with the national security lab since 1983, occupied various roles of increasing responsibility, mostly recently as vice president of the international, homeland and nuclear security program management unit and vice president of the energy, nonproliferation and high consequence security division, the Albuquerque Journal said Monday.
