ContractTYSONS CORNER, VA July 31, 2015 — The State Department has approved the possible sale of Patriot missiles and associated services to Saudi Arabia under the U.S. foreign military sales program, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Wednesday the deal is worth an estimated $5.4 billion and includes a request for 600 Patriot Advanced Capability-3 cost reduction initiative missiles, plus several test and test target missiles, and telemetry kits from prime contractors Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
