TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 2, 2016 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will provide additional Joint Direct Attack Munition tailkits to the U.S. Air Force under a contract modification worth a potential $3.2 billion, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.
The Defense Department said Tuesday the award increases the original contract’s value by an estimated $1.5 billion as the Air Force seeks to replenish depleted inventories due to increased warfighter demand.
