TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 15, 2016 — A joint venture of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will update the fire control radar systems on several Apache helicopters under an $89.8 million contract from the U.S. Army, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
Lockheed said Wednesday their Longbow JV will provide software updates and 84 radar electronic units for the FCR systems on the Army’s fleet of Apache attack helicopters.
