TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 22, 2016 — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) will provide software development, maintenance and update services to the Agriculture Department under a potential $232 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The company said Thursday USDA awarded the contract for information technology support for the department’s rural development agency via the National Institutes of Health‘s Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 contract vehicle.
“This program will help the agency develop and maintain software systems needed for the essential loans and grants to help improve the economy and quality of life in rural America,” said Casey Coleman, vice president of the federal civilian business group at Unisys.
