BoeingLogo1-EbizTYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 23, 2016 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has appointed Jim Chilton, vice president of strategic missiles and defense systems, as the new president of the company’s network and space systems business, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The executive move will take effect Oct. 21 as incumbent N&SS President Craig Cooning retires following 11 years of work with Boeing, the company said Thursday.

Chilton’s appointment is also in line with the consolidation of the strategic missiles and defense systems division with the electronic and information solutions division into a new business unit under N&SS.
