TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 6, 2017 — The Energy Department‘s National Nuclear Security Administration has awarded Mission Support and Test Services and SOC separate contracts for the operations, management and security of the Nevada National Security Site, GovCon Wire reported Monday.
SOC, a subsidiary of Day & Zimmermann, said Friday it will provide protective force services to the site and work with subcontractors on other critical performance elements.
MSTS — which consists of Honeywell (NYSE: HON), Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) and Huntington Ingalls Industries‘ (NYSE: HII) Stoller Newport News Nuclear division — will operate and manage the site under a potential $5 billion contract, NNSA said May 12.
