TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 8, 2017 — CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) will field emergency calls during the Hurricane Harvey recovery operations in Houston, Texas, under a potential $95 million task order from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday it will utilize its shared services capability and hire approximately 1,500 temporary personnel to man an emergency call center at its Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, Louisiana, to assist in the government’s disaster recovery efforts.
