TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 12, 2018 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has been named the prime contractor on a proposed $270.4 million foreign military sale of AIM-9X-2 Sidewinder Block II missiles and other equipment to the United Arab Emirates, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Thursday the State Department has moved to approve the sale of 300 Block II missiles, 40 Captive Air Training Missiles, 30 Block II tactical guidance units and 15 CATM guidance units, among others.
