John Heller, former SVP and COO at Engility, has been named the first-ever CEO at PAE.
“John has valuable experience, from successfully growing companies in the government and commercial services market and from his service in the military,” said Paul Confoni, executive chairman of the board of directors.
Mike Dignam, president at PAE, will now report to Heller.
At Boeing, Christopher Chadwick has been appointed president and CEO of the company’s defense, space and security business segment.
He is a 31-year company veteran who previously served as Boeing’s president for military aircraft.

Deborah Lee James has been confirmed as the next Secretary of the Air Force.
She most recently served as president of SAIC’s technical and engineering sector.
“My goal would be to leave our Air Force some years from now on a path toward greater capability and better affordability for our taxpayers, and with the people who underpin everything who are second to none,” she said.
At AT&T, Stacy Schwartz was promoted to VP of public safety at AT&T Government Solutions.
She is a 17-year company veteran who previously served as executive director of federal civilian sales.
