John Hillen, who currently serves as vice chairman of Sotera Defense Solutions’ board, has been appointed chairman of SOS International’s board of advisers.
Earlier in his career, Hillen was president at CGI Federal, led the defense and intelligence business at American Management Systems and served as assistant secretary of state for political-military affairs.
At Sterling Global Operations, Alan Weakley has been named president.
Weakley most recently served as president of CSC’s North American public sector defense organization.

Siemens Government Technologies won a $5.3 million task order to update the HVAC systems at a Coast Guard base.
“Siemens is committed to delivering mission success affordably and efficiently for our government customers,” said Judy Marks, Siemens Government Technologies presidnet and CEO.
Falls Church, Va.-based Noblis won a $13 million task order for organizational change management work for the FBI’s Sentinel Case Management system.
Noblis helped the FBI move to Sentinel in 2012.
In other news, SRA International won a $56 million contract extension to provide the Navy with IT services.
George Batsakis, SRA defense group SVP, said the company works with the command to carry out operational communications.
