David Zolet serves as executive vice president and general manager of CSC’s North American public sector and joined the Falls Church, Va. firm. as president of business development in 2010.
He has been inducted into the The Wash 100, a premiere group of executives from the government contracting industry handpicked by Executive Mosaic staff.
In his current role, Zolet says he is attempting to change the company’s public sector organization.
“This refined model drives a disciplined approach for delivering commercial best practices and aligns our people internally to bring innovative solutions that lower costs while improving productivity,” he told GovCon Exec.
“This focus is critical to our success—and more importantly—to our customers’ missions,” he added.
Prior to CSC, the industry veteran was vice president of public sector systems integration at IBM and was a VP and GM at Northrop Grumman earlier in his career.
Zolet is extremely optimistic about the future of CSC and says the new model offers the best opportunity to grow the company and take it from good to great.
“I’m most excited to see the future of CSC. I’m eager to look back and be more amazed than I am now—and to know that our people have achieved great things for the company and the missions we support,” he said.
