In August, ExecutiveBiz covered Don Mestas‘ take on Harris’ recent joint contract with Quest Diagnostics to build a new messaging service into the Florida Health System. The VP for federal healthcare solutions also led the company’s acquisition of IT security firm Patriot Technologies and was key in Harris’ win to integrate the healthcare systems of the VA and DoD.

Paul Nedzbala, SVP and director of the SRA health group, helped the company secure a $78 million HRSA health data bank contract at the beginning of the year. He joined the company in 2007 with the acquisition of Constella Group.

David Cradlin is VP for health sciences BD at HPTi, a company he joined in the early 90’s. In an interview with ExecutiveBiz, he said he is working to leverage computational science, architecture, and systems engineering operations to support clinical decision making.
 
Donald Bradshaw

Dr. Don Bradshaw is SVP and defense health operations manager at SAIC‘s defense health operation. Bradshaw is currently leading his team’s effort to integrate systems, networks, software and IT products for the VA under a $12 billion IDIQ.

Victoria Zagaria, Intel


Victoria Zagaria is a director in Intel’s federal practice, where she leads support of HHS policy and program initiatives. The industry vet utilizes healthcare strategies and enterprise based technologies with program initiatives to promote Intel’s business.
 
Mary Whitley

Last year, Mary Whitley led ICF International in winning a deal to provide advanced voice-recognition applications, enhanced web self-service tools, and integrated desktop interfaces for VA public contact representatives. The former GSA executive and a current SVP at ICF has more than 20 years experience delivering IT products and services for federal clients.

Kerry Weems


In April, Kerry Weems helped maritime giant General Dynamics win two contracts to develop and implement cloud computing for the army. Weems, the VP and GM of IT health solutions at GDIT, joined the firm after it acquired Vangent, where Weems was an SVP.
Susan Penfiled

Susan Penfield, Booz Allen


Susan Penfield is an SVP at Booz Allen Hamilton where she has worked for 18 years and dealt with every health related agency in the federal government. Some of her accomplishments include designing and developing avian flu strategic simulations, helping to develop a national plan to combat Alzheimer’s through support of the Alzheimer’s study group and streamlining vaccine distribution for the CDC‘s Vaccine for Children program.

Janet Turner, URS


Janet Turner is VP of healthcare solutions at URS, which was awarded best cloud solution from the Government Technology Research Alliance. URS has been awarded a number of federal government IT contracts including with the FTC earlier this month and U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command.
Keith Salzman

Dr. Keith Salzman, CACI


Dr. Keith Salzman, chief medical officer for CACI International, led a wide-ranging career as a surgeon for the Stryker Brigade Combat Team, and has run a health IT program in Iraq and led clinical services in Kosovo. CACI currently holds more than 50 contracts in the health IT sector.
 
Richard Campanelli

Richard Campanelli, Lockheed


As leader of government relations with the Department of Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs for Lockheed Martin, Richard Campanelli uses his HHS experience which includes counselor to the secretary and the director of the office of civil rights for the agency. Currently, Campanelli’s group holds two contracts with the Nationwide Health Information Network.
Geary Brummell

Geary Brummell, Microsoft


Geary Brummell is the federal healthcare sales manager for Microsoft, where his accounts include HHS, SSA and a number of organizations in the military health system. Brummell was awarded the outstanding contributor award by Microsoft in 2002 for his work in Microsoft’s military health account.
