One of the profiles published, was that of Steven Chabinsky, CrowdStrike’s senior vice president of legal affairs and chief risk officer.
The former deputy assistant director in the FBI‘s cyber division advises the security company on cyber, legal, privacy and reputation-related topics.
He has also served as chief of the FBI’s cyber intelligence section, helped formulate the Homeland Security Act of 2002 and was in the White House planning committee to create the DHS.
Chabinsky served in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as the acting assistant deputy director of national intelligence for cyber and chairman of the National Cyber Study Group.

Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategic and Tactical systems David Ahern was also profiled on the government news website this past week.
Prior to his current role, Ahern served as a professor of program management and director of the Center for Program Management at the Defense Acquisition University in Fort Belvoir, Va.
Ahern held executive positions at General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman in the tactical information systems field before his government service.
