Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and Representative for Michigan’s 8th congressional district, has joined the Wash100.
The Wash 100 is a premiere group of executives from the government contracting industry handpicked by Executive Mosaic staff and he was chosen for his contributions to the intelligence community.
Rogers was appointed to chair the House Intelligence Committee in 2011 and is a member of the Energy and Commerce Panel.
“I am pleased that this committee continues to build upon the good, bipartisan work we began in 2011,” Rogers said.
Prior to being elected to Congress in 2001, Rogers served in the U.S. Army for four years and was an FBI special agent.
He has written three intelligence authorization bills which have been signed into law and has been a leading supporter of a Congressional cybersecurity bill.
