This week, the biggest news the website covered was the appointment of Mark Gerencser to become chairman of the board of directors at PC services company CyberSpa and his retirement from Booz Allen Hamilton after 31 years.
The former Booz Allen executive served in a number of roles at the Tysons, Va.-based firm including managing director of the global government business, leader of Booz Allen’s national security business, created its homeland security practice and the commercial enterprise resilience practice.
Gerencser served for six terms on Booz Allen’s board of directors over his career in addition to serving on the executive management committee and leading its partnership committee as chairman.
He co-founded CyberSpa in 2010 with current president Allen Shay.
According to the company’s website, the PC services system fully automates delivery of data transfer, virus removal and other performance and security services.
Gerenscer will work to identify more executives to fill the board of directors.
