EMGovCon Wire publishes a number of stories every week that include executive appointments, M&A activity and earnings reports at GovCon firms.
This week, the biggest news the website coveredwas the Northrop appointments of Christine McGlade and Andrew Reynolds as vice presidents of manufacturing operations and site managers for two aircraft integration centers of excellence.
In their new executive roles, McGlade will stay in St. Augustine Fl. where she currently serves as program director.
She will now manage manufacturing and support operations at the site.
Reynolds will hold the same responsibilities at the Palmdale, Calif. center where he was most recently director of manufacturing operations and deputy site manager.
“St. Augustine produces the entire E-2D Hawkeye from start to finish and supports a number of other programs,” said Tommy Tomlinson, sector vice president of global manufacturing for Northrop’s aerospace systems sector.
“Palmdale produces critical elements of several significant manned and unmanned aircraft and is the home of the groundbreaking F-35 Integrated Assembly Line,” Tomlinson added.
