TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 28, 2016 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will provide radar operations and maintenance services to the U.S. Navy under a potential $104 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
The company said Tuesday the contract is in support of the service branch’s Relocatable Over-the-Horizon Radar system, a long-range surveillance radar designed to track ships and aircraft.
Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business segment and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, said the company will work with the Navy’s Forces Surveillance Support Center and the Joint Interagency Task Force South in line with the program.
