Executive Mosaic’s weekly round-up of news is a can’t-miss, digestible snapshot of the GovCon industry covering the biggest executive moves, mergers & acquisitions and contracts straight from the pen of one of GovCon’s most respected facilitators and sources of breaking news, Jim Garrettson.
This week, the newsletter contained major executive moves at MITRE, BAE, Booz Allen, Noblis and DNC.
At MITRE, Julie Bowen has been appointed general counsel and corporate secretary having previously served as associate general counsel.
Bowen will also lead the government relations department at the firm.
Roger Mason has been named SVP of the national security and intelligence unit at Noblis and will also oversee the nonprofit organization’s ESI subsidiary.
He most recently served as assistant national intelligence director for systems and resource analyses at ODNI.
Chuck Olsick, a 30-year GovCon veteran, has been appointed president at Data Networks Corp.
Also, Cass Panciocco is now the COO and Michele Bond is SVP of federal health IT and civillian health programs at the Reston, Va.-based firm.
Susan Lawrence, former CIO of the U.S. Army, has been named SVP of the defense market group at Booz Allen Hamilton.
“She led the way in bringing new communications and wireless systems, electronics platforms, and advanced technology to the warfighter, navigating budget pressures, and delivering on the Army’s C4ISR and information technology strategy,” said Joseph Sifer, a Booz Allen SVP.
In the final story included in the newsletter, Tom Arseneault has been promoted to COO at BAE Systems Inc.
“As COO, Tom will be key to accomplishing our global development strategy and expanding our business internationally,” said Jerry DeMuro, who became BAE’s U.S. CEO earlier this month.
