This week, the newsletter contained major executive appointments at SRA, ManTech Intl, Johns Hopkins APL and MAXIMUS.
SRA Intl has undergone a realignment where its four business groups hasve been consolidated into two groups and a new CTO role has been created.
Pat Burke, who was most recently the president of the intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement group, will now serve as the company’s first CTO.
George Batsakis will now lead the national security group which is the consolidation of the intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement group with the defense group.
Paul Nedzbala will lead the health and civil group which was previously split into two groups.
At Johns Hopkins APL, Michael Ryschkewitsch has been appointed leader of the space sector.
He currently serves as NASA’s chief engineer and is the former deputy director for the Goddard Space Flight Center.

Paul Gentile was named SVP of ManTech’s cyber solutions business unit.
“His knowledge of the cyber mission and associated technologies will support ManTech’s efforts to significantly enhance our cyber support to the Intelligence Community and other federal agencies,” said Bill Varner, ManTech MCIS group president.
The SAIC veteran was previously SVP and deputy business unit GM for SAIC’s integrated systems group.
David Walker is set to retire from his CFO role at MAXIMUS upon the naming of his successor.
“During his tenure with MAXIMUS, his contributions included partnering with business leaders to improve the overall efficiency of their operations and drive margin expansion,” said Montoni.
Walker was named Washington Business Journal’s “CFO of the Year” for 2013 and he previously served as VP and corporate controller at BAE Systems.
