Bernie Guerry most recently served as VP and GM of General Dynamics IT national intelligence sector and was recently appointed SVP and general manager of intelligence solutions at General Dynamics IT.  
He succeeds Thomas Kirchmaier who has elevated to president of General Dynamics AIS.
At SAIC, Mark Schultz has been named general counsel and EVP for the technical services and IT segment.
He will hold the same role when the company splits into two separate organizations.
Schultz is a 30-year legal veteran who previously served as chief legal officer and corporate secretary at MWH Global and held legal positions at SRA and Raytheon.

John Suttle has elevated to the role of SVP for international business at BAE Systems, a brand new role at the Arlington,Va.-based firm.
The retired Army lieutenant general was previously SVP of communications at the firm. 
Suttle also served as senior director of communications for General Dynamics armament and technical products and held numerous public affairs roles in the Army.
Also included in this week’s newsletter was the announcement that MAXIMUS has won $36 million from Maryland to operate its health benefit exchange.
Richard Montoni, MAXIMUS president and CEO, said the company has already won contracts to operate the exchanges in Minnesota, New York, Vermont and Hawaii.
