Hello, Guest!

Online PR News – 05-September-2012 –Executive Mosaic released two columns on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, giving thorough and definitive digests of executive moves, mergers and acquisitions covered in August on the website GovCon Wire.
GovCon Wire is one of Executive Mosaic’s seven premiere media properties which inform executives in the GovCon industry of the latest company, technology, executive and government news.
Two executives who stepped into new roles include former NASA administrator Michael Griffin, who is now CEO at Schafer Corp., and Rick Attilio, who will serve STG Inc. in a dual capacity as both COO and CFO.
In total, there were 20 executive moves covered by GovCon Wire in August.

They varied greatly in position and responsibilities, with a number of technology, business development and program leadership positions being filled and several appointments at the C-level.
Another position that was in demand during August was head of contracts as three companies including Northrop Grumman, URS Corp. and Grant Thornton named new executives to contract leadership positions.
Acquisitions covered in August mainly centered on information technology firms as there were five that took place including General Dynamics’ buy of Fidelis Security Systems and CGI buying British IT services provider Logica.
However, the biggest announcement came from SAIC on Aug. 30 when the company announced its plans to split into two separate publicly-traded companies, causing a ripple throughout the GovCon industry.
The move is intended to give both companies more room to compete in their own spaces and eliminate organizational conflicts of interest, CEO John Jumper said at the time.
