Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA December 16, 2014 – GovCon Wire reported earlier this week CAE Inc. netting $99 million in total defense contracts for the third quarter of its fiscal year 2015 to provide training support and simulation tools for allied forces.
The awards include an Airbus Defence and Space contract to produce a C295 full-flight simulator for Poland, lifecycle and maintenance services support for New Zealand’s synthetic training devices built for the Kaman SH-2G Super SeaSprite and training needs analysis for a German-French technical school’s Tiger helicopter program.
“These orders show the continued focus by defense and security forces on expanding their use of simulation-based training,” Gene Colabatistto, president of CAE’s defence and security group, said Monday.
“Defence forces and original equipment manufacturers from around the world continue to turn to CAE for their training needs, and we are happy to add new platforms such as the SH-2G and Tiger helicopters to our portfolio.”
