Today, GovCon Wire broke the news that former GTSI CEO Sterling Phillips will become the CEO and president of USIS, effective Jan. 1, 2013.

Phillips will report to Altegrity CEO Sharon Rowlands in his new position.
He was at GTSI during a rapid growth period which culminated in the June 2012 sale of the company to UNICOM Systems.
Prior to his position at GTSI, Phillips served as a venture partner at FirstMark Capital, and before that served as chairman and CEO of Analex Corporation for six years.
