Arlington, Va.-based PAE will acquire CSC’s applied technology division for $175 million.
This sale will be CSC’s sixth divestiture in seven months and PAE will add the unit’s military and space testing and training services with the transaction which is expected to close this summer.
The General Servcies Administration has signed a deal with four mobile providers to centralize government-wide wireless service plans under one contract vehicle.
“As budgets tighten, our customers want more flexibility to find much needed cost savings with wireless services and devices,” said Kay Kapoor, president of AT&T’s government solutions business about the large contract.
