Hello, Guest!

Executive MosaicGovCon Wire publishes a number of stories each week that includes executive appointments, M&A activity and earnings reports at GovCon firms.
This week, the biggest news the website covered was the announcement that Chris Smith has been appointed VP of technology at AT&T Government Solutions.
He most recently worked for Accenture Federal as chief technology and innovation officer.
“He is going to be an important engine of innovation for AT&T in the federal sector,” said Kay Kapoor, president of the government solutions business.
In his new role, Smith will be responsible for a team of 175 technologists focusing on developing products and services for federal customers.
Smith is a 25-year federal market veteran and served as chief information officer for the Agriculture Department prior to Accenture.
In that role, Smith led the USDA in transitioning more than 120,000 users into a cloud environment, the largest cloud adoption ever done by a federal agency.
His other leadership roles in government came at the GSA, IRS, Air Force, Air National Guard and the Army National Guard.
