Christopher Chadwick has been promoted to serve as president of Boeing’s defense, space and security business where he succeeds Dennis Muilenburg.
The 31-year company veteran most recently served as president of Boeing’s military aircraft division and will begin his new role on Dec. 31.
Muilenburg will elevate to the roles of vice chairman, president and chief operating officer at Boeing’s Chicago headquarters.
Shelley Lavender will succeed Chadwick as military aircraft division president.
In the last piece of Boeing executive news, Raymond Conner, president and CEO for the commercial airplanes segment, will add the title of vice chairman.
