HP Enterprise Services will move 600,000 users at the Department of Veterans Affairs to a Microsoft cloud solution which will include their email and calendars.
“The VA needed to transform into a 21st century organization that could enable employees to collaborate more effectively,” said Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president, general manager of the U.S. public sector for HP Enterprise Services.
HP will also lead the implementation of Office 365 and create a disaster recovery system.

With the addition of Oak Ridge’s Titan Super Computer, U.S. national laboratories now operate five out of the 20 fastest supercomputers in the world.
Titan is used for nuclear power research and development of materials used for manufacturing and modeling fuels.
Argonne’s Mira, Los Alamos and Sandia’s Cielo, and Lawrence Berkeley’s Hopper are some of the other super computers included on the list.
